The J BURT RACING crew made the tow down to the always exciting Petaluma Speedway for the first Civil War race of the 2011 season. With 34 cars checked in the 2B machine was early out to qualify. "Being 4th car out wasn't the best place to qualify but we ended up 14th so I was pretty happy."

The heats were pretty fast, one lane with little passing. Being one spot out of a transfer position, Jeremy got up on the wheel and moved to the top of the track with 1 lap to go. A daring pass of Benson #77 was executed just in time with a huge wheelstand off turn 4. Lining up 14th in the feature Jeremy knew he had his work cut out for him. " You never want to start that far back, but I knew we had a good car capable of moving forward." Moving forward is exactly what he did when the green flag dropped. Running the high line Jeremy picked his way up to 6th at one point before bouncing through a hole to end up 8th.

" I was really happy with how we ran tonight, we passed a bunch of fast cars and brought it home in one piece. I would like to thank all my sponsors, we had a tough night last week and ended up switching cars for this week.

A Third place finish in his Heat Race put Jeremy in the 'A Main'.

However with a time trial that was not his best, Jeremy started 18th in the Main. After a slide into a stalled car in turn 4 and with crushed headers on one side of the engine, Jeremy continued the race and finished in 14th.

The J Burt Racing Crew made the journey down to the Petaluma Speedway Saturday despite the threatening clouds.

With a fresh 'Borello' powerplant under the hood and high hopes for the evening, the Team rolled into town. Those high hopes were quickly washed away as the clouds opened up just as the qualifying began.

"I was very disappointed when the rain began to fall because I knew our night was over". The rain never let up and the show was forced to be cancelled.

The J Burt Racing Crew was at Placerville Speedway bright & early and ready to go. The wind had been blowing all week making good track conditions only a hope. However, by the time Time Trials came around the track was going from dry to drier. Jeremy gave it everything he had but was not able to get the time he was striving for.

A 5th place finish in his heat put the 2B in the 'B' Main, where he started near the rear. With the track being so dry and slick, it took about 10 laps to get a real start. Our 2B was making a hard charge coming out of turn 3, only to find 3 cars spun out in turn 4. With no where to go, the 2B collided wheel to wheel broadside with another car and ended up being taken off the track by hook. It was a short night of racing for the 2B team this night.

Coming off a run of 'Bad Luck' Jeremy qualified 15th out of 33 cars, came in 2nd in his Heat Race and went straight to the A Main!

Starting in the 12th position, the newly rebuilt 2B was able to avoid trouble and finish 7th. We are very proud of him!!

Taking the weekend off for a little R & R!!

20 Sprints were at the Quincy track on Fri. Jeremy came in 5th in the 1st Heat Race, 4th in the 2nd Heat. Just when things were looking pretty good, he caught a wheel of another car and took a Hard ride!

After the 2B Crew worked intensely to get the Sprint ready for the Civil War Race, the crews work paid off. Jeremy qualified 10th out of 30+ Sprints.

Our Hot & Fast 2B Sprint finished 2nd in his Heat Race, taking him straight to the 'A' Main, where he finished 8th!

The J Burt Crew worked hard since last weekend at Quincy to get the 2B ready for MRP. Jeremy finished 3rd in Heat A-2 and 5th in Heat B-2.

The Main Event had some challenges in it with Jeremy starting in the 8th Place spot. After making a few passes and enduring the red and yellow flags of the evening, Jeremy and Vern Wheeler had a race of their own going on throughout most of the Main event. It proved to be very entertaining to the Fans, and Jeremy finished in 6th place.

46 Sprints showed up this evening for the Civil War Race. Jeremy qualified 20th out of the group and finished 3rd in his Heat Race. His strong finish in the Heat guranteed him a slot in the 'A' Main!!

Even though the 2B started out on the pole, engine over-heating problems occurred and Jeremy took his car back to the pits before causing any damage to the engine.

Qualified 20th out of 30 Sprints, finished 3rd in my Heat Race. Finishing in the top 4 in our Heat took us straight to the 'A' Main.

The Racing Groove in the track this evening made it a real challenge. Jeremy Started the Main in 16th place and was running hard when he spun out. Although he was able to keep the car going, a yellow flag came was thrown and he had to go to the back of the pack. He fought hard and was able to finish in 15th place slot.

A Good Night of Racing!! Won my 1st Heat, took 5th in my 2nd Heat.

The Main Event was a Good Competitive Race! Everyone was driving clean and hard, it was a Good Race. We came in 6th!! Go Gecko, Go!!!

WOW, What a race!!!! If you weren't there, you missed probably the most Exciting Race of the Season!! The Main Event was a nail biter from beginning to end!! It was a good, clean race and kept us all on the edge of our seats!! The Hot & Fast 2B won the race in the very last lap after an Awesome shoot out with Dothage!! (Great Race Guys!!!!)

The evening started out with coming in 3rd in the 1st heat race and 2nd in the second Heat Race. The Track was FAST and made for some really good racing!!!

What a Beautiful Night for racing, not too hot, not too cool!! Won my 1st Heat Race, came in 5th in the 2nd Heat.

Started the 'A' Main on the pole with Colby Weisz right next to me. Colby got the jump on me the 1st couple starts. Finally on the 3rd restart, I made the right move at the right time and left the pack in the dust. Colby was hot on my tail as I pushed harder and harder. Soon I was lapping traffic and on my way to the WIN!!

I felt really Good about winning the 2nd Sherm Toller Memorial and it was 2 days before my Aunt's birthday, so she was really Happy!!
